Dying Eggs

Welcome to Easter Egg Dying (or throwing up) of
April 23, 2011. In the last two years Carter has really enjoyed dying Easter eggs well that all changed this year. So as we are starting Carter keeps telling us that it stinks and gaging as he is covering his mouth and nose. Well we just tryed to pass it off and ignore it thinking that it would go away. It did not and as you can tell with the pictures of Carter and I together he threw up all over himself as I was trying to catch it (not pretty and I just should have let it go all down him rather than on me). After he threw up he decided he was done until later when "papa"Whitelock was able to talk him into trying to dye eggs again. On a side note the twins seemed to have no interest in the egg dying process either, but they loved having their pictures taken. Over all it was a fun experience one that we will never forget.

Ouchie

On the afternoon of April 20, 2011 Carter, the twins and I were in the back yard playing and low and behold Carter fell off his bike hit his bottom lip on the kid picnic table and managed to split it open. Blood was gushing every where and he would not swallow it nor would he spit it out (he was crying and chocking all at the same time), mean while the wind picked up in speed which caused the twins to start screaming, needless to say all four of us were in tears and luckily for me and the children Daddy was able to come to the rescue. We still have not been able to get his cut to close (we are thinking that he keeps playing with it), but it has stoped bleeding thankfully.

Happy "Grill"/Birthday Dad!

Bob turned 30 this year and since we got the deck I decided go big to celebrate and get him a nice grill that he has been wanting for sometime. So after much searching and trying to determine if I should I just went for it. I had to have neighbors help me get it out of the van, hide it (which I ended up just putting it in our garage and not allowing Bob to park or go in there) and get it on the deck the day of his birthday. Overall I would have to say that it was a great day. Carter was especially excited because we got to have cake when the twins went to bed.

Smiles

These were all taken sometime in the middle of April 2011. I love that on occasion when I take my camera out my children will smile. If they could please do this on picture day that would be great.

Easter Thanks

On April 11, 2011 we received a package from "great"- grandma and grandpa Bramhall and Carter could not have been more excited to have gotten mail. All three were really excited to see what was inside and Carter loved it all. He kept telling us that this was his favorite then changing his mind when he found something else. The twins loved fighting over the jelly beans as you can tell they thought they were going to get some. Thanks again "great"- grandma and grandpa Bramhall.

Success

Carter is finally potty trained (with the exception of naps, bed time and the occasional accident)! To celebrate he really wanted a "turn on tooth brush" just like daddy (seriously what kid wants to celebrate like this but hey). He is still in potty training mode so we are giving him one penny every time he goes (this money will be used to purchase his scooter that he really really wants) that is if he gets his jar full. We love you little man keep up the good work.

Ballerina

I could not resist posting these pictures (for the outfit as well as my cute children and husband). I love this outfit and hope that she wants to be a dancer or more of a girly girl than a tom boy, but for now I enjoy being able to dress her up in cute girl outfits. These were taken on April 8, 2011.

Army Crawl

We have finally been able to capture Tysen crawling on camera (these were taken April 8, 2011). Oh yeah did I forget to mention he's pants less (a favorite of my children). The last picture shows Tysen getting into the push up position which he then propels himself forward, its hard to explain but if you are lucky enough to see it it's pretty funny to watch.

Sippy Cup

So the other day I was reading in an article that mentioned you should get your young children used to sippy cups between 6-8 months so that by the time they are one you can get rid of the bottle, I thought that was a great idea (had little hope that it would work this time around). So we gave Tysen a sippy and he nailed it on the first try (though as soon as we got the camera this is what happened), this kid of ours is very smart and determined. Keep up the good work son we love you. Picture taken on April 8, 2011.

Siblings

Carter Lee

My little boy is turning into such a handsome little man. I love that Carter keeps me on my toes (it certainly means that my days will not be dull) and that at the same time he is very concerned as to how his dads day at work went and how his mom is doing. He lets me know the minute one of the twins makes even the slightest bit of noise and wants to know if he can go and get them. He loves to feed them and his new thing is that he thinks he should be able to change there diapers (this is where I have to draw the line, all I can see is an accident waiting to happen). The biggest news for the month of March is that on the first Carter can officially pedal a bike something that he is very proud of and so are we (now if the weather could just co-operate). We are very proud that Carter has taken up an interest in his letters, colors and shapes and that he is very excited for school to start ( he asks multiple times a day if he can got to school now, he also wants to know when will he be getting his backpack). We love you "Lee-Bee" keep us on our toes in a good way and know that we love you very much.

Nadya Seven Months Old

"Princess" Nadya as she likes to be called (and which surprisingly does not bother me like I though it would) is such a sweet girl who loves to laugh at her brothers and daddy and who seeks her mommy when its feeding time or bed time (I love that she wants me). She is very strong willed and will do things on her own time frame (just ask her grandma who is trying to help her parents out by getting her to sit up, which she does not want to do). We love her very much and are grateful that she loves to jabber early in the morning (though we wish we could all sleep through it a little better than we currently do), that she tries to give kisses and hugs, and that her jumper-o gives her the giggles. These pictures were taken March 17, 2011 and my sister and I and my mom tried desperately to get Nadya to sit up but she refused and threw her self backwards every time (unless the boppy was there then she was not too successful). During the month of March Nadya got her bottom two teeth at the exact same time (on March 12, 2011). This is funny to us simply because she is not the one that likes to eat, that would be her twin Tysen. On March 25, 2011 I left Nadya on her back playing in the family room and when I came back in she was on her stomach and not very happy about it (she gave me the look of how dare you and turn me over now) it was a relief that she has finally tried this on her own and we can only hope that she will keep going. We love you "Princess" Nadya.

Tysen Seven Months

Who could resist this cute boy? Tysen is always full of smiles and has such an easy going attitude about him. These pictures were taken by my sister and mom on March 17, 2011. During the month of March Tysen accomplished two very big things. First on March 27, 2011 he got up on all fours (on his hands and knees in the crawling position) we knew once we saw this that it was only a matter of days, if we were lucky before he would be crawling. Sure enough on March 31, 2011 Tysen started army crawling/push ups (he literally gets into the male position for a push up) sounds unbelievable but Tysen is very strong. His new favorite thing now that he can move is to chase after Carter wherever he might be (right now its cute to both my boys but soon enough they will both understand what Tysen's moving means). We love you little man keep being so happy and fun loving.
