Octopus Anyone?

 Hot dog chunks with cooked spaghetti through the hot dog was all it is but Carter still would not eat it. 

 Nadya loved to disassemble it, get rid of the noodles on the blanket and then eat the hot dog.

 At first Tysen would not eat it cause Carter was not. But then he discovered that there were noodles and ate those and gave the hot dogs to Nadya.

This was our movie night picnic style dinner (this is the dinner that ruined eating picnic style).

Carter's First Day of Pre-School

 Nervous and excited about his second year of pre-school at a new school, with new friends and a new teacher.

 Bob has started this tradition of staying home to cook his kids breakfast (consists of sausage, bacon, eggs and hash browns) on their first day of school. Then as a family we all take them to school. I love it thanks cowboy for all you do for us.

Ready to go in to school. He is attending Little Farmers Pre-school which we really love. They guarantee reading and writing before graduation plus they get to take on farmer responsibilities each day.

Carter's Vegetable Garden

 The carrot that Carter is so proudly displaying is one that he planted and watered everyday, it was one of three that survived (we planted them to deep).

 The other vegetables minus the tomatoes he helped grandma W water. The tomatoes he and I took care of in our garden.

 One of Carter's favorite vegetables are beans which he also grew and they did really well. It was common to find him in the garden just eating them when he had originally asked if he could just play in the back yard.  

This is the biggest carrot that we got and he was kind enough to share it with his whole family. I am so proud of you son for following through on your garden.

Brigham City Temple Dedication

 My Eternal Family. You all make me so happy thanks for being my family.

Finally done. from beginning to end it took us over five hours to wait in line outside, wait in line inside, watch the movie, tour the Temple, and exit the temple. It was a great experience to give my children but not sure that I would repeat it again as they were starving, burnt and tired by the end of it.

This Concludes Our labor Day Road Trip.

The Drive

 Driving was a little much for my kiddos. But grandma W made their day when she found these cute little apple juices.

We drove from Logan to Pepridge Farm just to discover that they were closed for remodeling. So we decided to drive to Idaho and buy lotto tickets. We all lost, but it was fun to try it out.

Bear Lake

 We Finally made it to Bear Lake to discover that it was freezing cold but we had fun tossing rocks in anyways.

 Carter kept trying to get big ones and then would end up falling on his bottom. Love you Carter thanks for never giving up.

 Trying to decide what to do eventually led to going to get pizza and chocolate covered raspberries.

 Anything that all the others can do so can I. I love his can do keep up attitude but some times it scares me cause he is little right now. Tysen I love you, never stop trying to go after what you want.

Try as she might she simply could not pick up most rocks. They were to big or slippery and she was not appreciating it.  We love you Nadya thanks for making us laugh.

The Hike of HELL!

 We Finally made it to the top of our hike (for a more detailed story see below).

 My CUTE little family. I love you all so much and am grateful that I am your mom and wife.

 I am soo cool I have my stick, sunglasses and my men surrounding me.

This was right before the hike hell adventures began.

So on the way from the cave to our hiking destination Nadya threw up multiple times so much so that her car seat was soggy and unusable (got to use the hotel washer and dryer to take care of all that). When we arrived we cleaned her up again and started our hike. This is a mix of bad parenting, mis-communication and kind hearted people that took pity on us. We had no intention of this being a long hike so we did not have wipes or diapers with us AND Tysen and Nadya were both wearing swim diapers to make matters worse. About twenty minutes into the hike my mom's arm was getting really wet, this is where we learned that swim diapers SUCK and as parents we messed up by not being prepared. So my mom went on with a continuous wet arm and body as Tysen kept leaking. Shortly after we decided to just let him go commando when a group of hikers who also had twins (younger than ours) happened upon us and rescued us by giving us 2 smaller diapers and wipes. I was so grateful and mortified at the same time. But thankfully they gave us two diapers, because when we reached the top Nadya's diaper let loose as well.

Lesson learned never leave any place without being prepared!!
