Elmo Show

Today December 11, 2010 Carter and I had the opportunity to go see the Elmo show at the Maverik Center with my friend Amy and her daughter Mylie. The kids had so much fun, Carter was so into. I love seeing the excitement in his eyes when he gets involved with the things that he likes.

B-Day Thanks To "Great"-Grandma & Grandpa Bramhall

Thank you "Great"- Grandma and Grandpa Bramhall for my neat Lego set. Daddy and I set it up and played all night with it. Thanks again and can't wait to see you soon.

Dr's Visit followed by Christmas Tree Shopping

Today December 7, 2010 my son Carter Lee turns three it's hard to imagine that three years ago he was a baby and now he is an independent little boy who loves his brother and sister and follows his daddy every where.
We went to the Dr's to day for shots for all three and there check up here are the latest up dates.
CARTER: weighs- 27 1/2 pounds (a huge accomplishment). height- 35 inches. Overall- he is doing great.
NADYA:weighs- 9.81 lbs (not very good for her according to the doctor). height-23 inches. Overall- We need to see growth in length, gaining weight and we will need to evaluate her head in two months, so far it's looking like we will not need a helmet (cross our fingers).
TYSEN: weighs- 11.35 lbs. height- 23.82. Overall- the Dr has upped his meds, we are allowed and advised to start rice cereal (according to the Dr this should help with his acid reflux) and we need to go in for an ultrasound of his kidneys.

After the Dr's appointment we surprised Carter by going to the tree farm where he got to pick his tree and see Santa's reindeer (unfortunately Santa is not there until 5pm). He did not like the reindeer but had fun picking the tree and loading into the van with Bob. Oh yeah my awesome husband took the day off to help with all the chaos of the Dr's and the after math.

Carter's Mickey Mouse Party

On Sunday December 5, 2010 we celebrated Carter's 3 birthday. He got to come with me to the party store and choose his theme (which was really hard for him, he ran back and forth between Cars and Mickey) and put together gift bags for his friends. Bob made his Mickey cake and did a fantastic job. We decorated the house Saturday night and on Sunday morning when Carter woke up he was very surprised and ran every where in the house to see where the decorations were at.
The cake turned out great but we realized that the frosting was a huge mistake as it turned everyone black including the children's clothing. Luckily it does come out with little effort (just soak it in cold water).
Carter had a hard time understanding that once you open a present you put it down tell them thanks then move on to the next present he just wanted to play with the gifts that people gave him.
When it came time to sing Happy Birthday Carter was mad because we made him put down his Mickey computer or "puter" as he calls it and blow out the candles. However he soon realized that blowing them out was fun and tried really hard to blow them out before we were even done singing to him.
After all the party stuff was done uncle Alex showed him how to use the slinky that he gave him (he really loves to show his brother and sister how it works), aunt Amy got his computer out, and Grandma W. set up his ball tent which he loves (he tried to sleep in it for nap time this afternoon).
A huge thanks to all those that helped with the party and that came we are so glad to have you as family and friends.

Seeing SANTA!

All three of my kids did so good seeing Santa. We did not tell Carter till we were in the car that we were going to see Santa and made him guess who we were going to see at the mall, he got it right away. After wards we went and did some shopping, this is where strangers proceeded to try and touch the twins or take there pictures (it weirded me out), at which point we bolted out of the mall. On our way out we let Carter right a note to Santa at Macy's. On the way home Carter and the twins passed out. It was fun to see Carter's excitement and I can't wait till Christmas is really here.
