Sibling Rivalry!

Let the games begin! Yes you read the title right the war has already occurred, well it actually started in the womb with Tysen sitting on Nadya's head. But just recently Tysen has become very very mobile and loves to find his sister and kick her, as of now Nadya just sits there and takes it but hopefully she will learn to fight back.
On a side note look at Nadya's clothing she is finally getting big enough that most of her preemie clothes are not fitting her but the bad thing is that none of the newborn stuff fits her either. We are in that in between stage that I am not loving. Tysen on the other hand loves to down 3oz of milk and has gained plenty of weight and length that new borns are starting to fit him, preemie's on the other hand stoped fitting him pretty much while in the NICU.

Big Brothers Love.

Carter is such an awesome big brother I could not ask for a better situation (I am sure I will need to read this in their teen years to remind myself how great they all are when they are fighting). Carter loves to help in any way that he can, he was so excited to be able to sit and play with them and was way more excited about getting his picture taken with each of them.

Guess who's who?

As I am feeding Nadya, Carter decides to get his trucks and construction figures out and out of no where he decides that the yellow hat guy is Papa (Whitelock) and the white hat guy is uncle Eric and proceeds to play construction. If you know these men they have expressions that Carter then decided to repeat as he was playing and we got to then discuss why we do not use those words. Got to love children's imaginations.

Busted!!

On Sunday the 12 of September 2010, Carter decided he wanted to color which is fine and we thought that we had established the rule of only coloring on paper but as we were about to go get him ready for church we noticed that he had colored on his face. As you can tell he admittedly tried to hide his face and kept yelling at me not to take pictures. Perfect photo opportunity, sorry bud but we still love you.

Just playing around.

Check up!

We went to the Dr's yesterday and here are our findings.
NADYA: Is now weighing in at slightly over five pounds and yes she is very much still in preemie clothes. The Dr told us that we need to keep her sleeping on the back side of her head but as you can tell she pretty much rules and does as she pleases. She is on a special formula due to some bloody stool issues so I am not allowed to eat dairy, eggs, or nuts of any kind (which is pretty hard but she deserves the best so for now I am going without).
TYSEN: Is now weighing in at over six pounds and we struggle to find clothing that will fit him because he is in the in between preemie and newborn phase. We found out yesterday that the Dr does not believe his kidneys will be a problem but that we still need to watch him and have another ultra sound done in November. Tysen is still very much our serious baby but at night loves to wake me every hour to eat or just to be up (needless to say between him and his sister at night I get no sleep, but they are worth every tired moment).

TYSEN IS HOME!!

So I am finding out real quick that this twin thing is alot harder than I thought ( I am saying this as I am typing one handed holding Tysen). This is insane! How are we going to manage? WHO CARES all I know is that finally both my babies are home and healthy. We are still working on eating and breastfeeding but we will get it eventually. I am so greatful to have my children home and healthy. I am also very greatful to all those who have helped us and who still are helping us.
We still are in isolation to keep them healthy and strong we promise to let you all know when we can proudly show them off. But want you to be part of this experience so stay tuned for more pictures as I find time to post them.
