On November 2, 2011 Carter and I embarked on the adventures of using not only food products to make these cookies, but mom also learned that patience in teaching is key in keeping control amongst young chefs to be. I love opportunities to teach my children the skills that will help them make it through life, but what was surprising was that I learned that I need to be much more specific in what I can and cannot handle when letting my kids help me. Ultimately Carter and I had fun cooking with each other and learned what buttons were ok to push and which ones were not. I love you son and hope that these skills that you will learn over the course of your life will be helpful to you and your future family.
