Carter October 2012

 Carter you are a great big brother you are always making sure that your brother and sister are ok and you are always trying to help them when you can and when they will let you.

 This was such a special day with you. We got to lunch at Rock Creek Pizza and were lucky enough to stop in at the Fire Station to reserve your Birthday party there. While there they gave you a tiny tour and a hat. I had such a great and fun day with you son. Thanks for being my great Carter.  October 4, 2012

Carter you are doing great in school you know all your letters and their sounds, you can write them all, you write your name and you are catching onto reading quicker than your teacher can pass you off on your books. You love to talk and you are very creative. At this point, coins are still your favorite thing to play with. You love watching Wild Krats, your favorite candy are whoppers and kit-kats. You love eating sausage and drinking chocolate milk (though you are starting to put up a fight about drinking your milk). 

We are so proud of you and are forever grateful that God sent you to us.

Trick or Treat

A family photo before I was booted out. In my family the men take the children trick or treating while the women stay home and pass out candy. I am pretty sure its so the men can take the candy from the children without smirks from the rest of us women folk. We love them though and are grateful they are willing to take them out and about.

Halloween Dinner

Ever since I can recall my mom has always made sure that Halloween dinners were full of fun but also the creepiness that Halloween can be. I remember such dinners as mummy sandwiches, snake and eye balls (jello and warm sandwiches) and worm salads. This year I wanted to start helping so Bob and I came up 

with "rats" (meatloaf ) shaped into rats. We thought they were cool but they certainly creeped out not only my children but my sisters and brother as well.

Pre-School Halloween Treats

My very rare pintrest arts and craft project. I decided that Carter and I could do these together. It was fun but took longer than I expected so it was hard to keep Carter's attention. Carter had so much fun telling everyone at school that he made these with his mom (ah a proud mommy moment). I love you so much Carter and you are doing great in school and more importantly is that you are loving to not only go but you love to learn and I pray that lasts for you. For if it does it will make school that much easier on you. I love you Lee Bee keep up the good work.

Carving Time

 I am happy to report that Carter did not throw up this year, close to it though. 

 Tysen thought this was so cool, he would smile every time he brought guts out.

 Nadya did it. But during the whole gutting it she was not sure if she should cry or throw up.

 Thanks to an un-announced visitor we got a family picture.

 Excuse the non-pants but Carter did not want guts getting on them. We let Carter carve this year it was scary and exciting to see how he could handle himself. Our son is growing up no matter how hard we try to keep him little.

The twins got to watch Dad carve their pumpkin after their bath. They both decided that the pumpkin guts should go on their heads instead of the bowl.

This year we washed and baked the pumpkin seeds. They were ok but definitely need improvement next year.

Pumpkin Patch

 We were so impressed by how all three could handle their wheelbarrows,

 even after they had pumpkins in them.

 Carter loves his magic glasses, I on the other hand would prefer to have one with and one with out for picture purposes. Love you Lee Bee. Thanks for being such a great helper.

Tysen was so excited to get on the wagon and even more excited to see all the pumpkins. He re-picked his pumpkin at that point.
