Little Miss Nadya. She definitely has all of us including her brothers wrapped around her cute little finger. She has really blossomed and has become our giggler and center of attention.
Here are the things Nadya accomplished in July
6th- snow cones were a definite NO. She hates having anything that cold in her mouth or any where around her. She cried and cried until it melted and then clamped her mouth shut to make sure we did not try to give her any more.
8th- loves loves watermelon or any type of fruit, takes her a bit to warm up to it but she loves it.
13th- she finally mastered the sippy cup and likes it ok but prefers to drink straight from the cup.
23rd- first baseball game and fireworks. She did not like any part of it. It was not routine, it was late and she was tired. She really did not like the fireworks and cried till they were over.
26th- she attended her first Fancy Nancy party held at Leatherby's Ice Cream Parlor in Taylorsville. She enjoyed the attention she got but did not like the ice cream.
We love our little "Squawker Monkey" or "Nad's" depending on who you ask. She brings a whole new type of attitude and excitement that we have never seen before. She is very caring and loves her brothers to death. We love you sweet girl.
On August 9, 2011 Carter entered the first day of his academic life (depending on career choice it could be longer or shorter). He was soo excited to go and better yet he got to have his DADDY go with him. He has done great despite the injury's he has incurred. On the second week of pre-school he fell and got a goose egg the size of a tennis ball on his forehead and on the third week he was stung by a bee while playing in the sand. By the fourth week you can imagine that there was some protest about going but we were able to coax him into going and thankfully he was not injured that week. He loves it and has made his teacher laugh every Thursday by the things that he has brought in for show and tell. For example he has brought a green plastic hanger that he had hunted down for nearly a half an hour and told his class and teacher that it was his Captain Hook hook (off of Jake and the Never Land Pirates) so that he could swipe toys away from bad guys, he has brought in a football card and told everyone that he was buying launch with his "credit card" , these are just the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. We love you Carter and are so lucky that you are very creative and caring, keep up the good work son.
