Dino's With Uncle Alex

On Monday January 17, 2011 Uncle Alex joined us at Thanksgiving Point. We had a blast and despite Carter's behavior he had fun playing and teasing his unlce. After the Museum we went to lunch at J&W's (hamburger joint) where the twins decided they had had enough and let everyone know it especially my little Nadya (boy does she have lungs). I think that perhaps the most amzing thing that happened was that Carter let Alex take him through the darkend star tunnel, Carter discovered that he liked it and for a solid ten minutes or so Alex and Carter went through it. Thanks for playing with us Uncle Alex.

Play Dough Fun

So here it is world I do eventually allow my children to play with play dough, even though I think the stuff is awful. The first time that Carter played with play dough was back in August of 2010 when I was back and forth from the NICU and home. His "great" grandma as he refers to her as, a.k.a. Mary Ann played with him, and ever since he has been addicted (now I thought a great way to cure him of play dough was nursery but that did not work since now he is a sunbeam). Oh well, the joy's of parenthood sometimes if not most of the time do require you to do things that you are not fond of.

We Are Very Hungry Can You Tell?

January 12 ,2011. However, this eating of the other twin seems to happen often when they are hungry or recently starting to teeth. I am surprised at how well they each take it particularly Nadya.

Boys Bath Time

So on January 11, 2011 I finally got brave enough and let my boys bath together. They seemed to really enjoy it and I had Nadya sitting on the outside of the tub, needless to say she was not happy at all that she was not in the tub. I am very grateful that all my children seem to really enjoy bath time. And can I just say that I have the best children in regards to how they react and treat each other (may this please always be in place). Tysen and Nadya's face always light up any time that Carter is around them and I am so proud of him for being a great big brother.

Thanksgiving Point

Today I decided that we have been cooped up long enough so we headed to Thanksgiving Point and bought a membership. We had a blast Carter did great, the Twins however not so great. Granted this is the first real big outing that I have done by myself and it is not as easy as I thought it would be (I made sure that both were changed and fed, it still did not matter). Thankfully there was a sweet grandma that was willing to help me feed Tysen so that I could feed Nadya (she however refused to take a bottle because it was room temp so she screamed the remainder of the time). Overall it was pretty good and Carter had fun and I am looking forward to getting out of the house on a weekly basis now.

MAKE UP TROUBLES!!

January 7, 2011 my wonderful son Carter was helping me with the laundry in the process I asked him to through away the dryer sheet. Now normally this is not a problem but my garbage contained my pretty empty mascara and this is the result of what had occurred. This is not the first time that my son has tried on my make up. I thought the saying was father like son NOT mother like son, oh well lets hope he grows out of it. Gotta love the curiosity of little children, Love you Carter Lee.

Cuteness

Gotta love my babies. Carter and the twins have soo much fun playing together right now, he loves to read to them or just plain entertain them. I am thankful that he loves them and has not really been to negative towards them.

Hopefully the picture at the top is the picture with all three particularly of Nadya wearing her cupcake outfit that is finally too small, never mind that she is almost five months old. I could not resist so before I put away some of her newborn and preemie's that no longer fit I made her wear this outfit.

The picture you see of Tysen eating Nadya is not a mistake you are not seeing things. They have started recognizing each other and Tysen is always hungry (not always willing to eat) so he decided that his sister would do.
